WHY INDOOR TANNING LOTIONS WORK:

Our select stock of Bantry Bay tanning products are

bio-engineered to speed up the tanning process, while

helping to maintain your tan longer!

Bantry Bay products aid in Three Key Areas:

Magnification

Moisturization

and Skin Conditioning.

Basic moisturizers are not the same as Tanning Products.

Magnification:

Magnification is simply the multiplying of ultraviolet light reaching your skin. Our Tanning

Products provide a special refractive and magnifying prism of Essential Vitamins, L-Tyrosine,

Silk Amino Acids and natural oils to intensify the UV light reaching your skin, increasing your

tanning results. Tanners who are not using a Tanning Product will get less magnification, thus

receiving less from the same tanning time.

Moisturization:

Healthy skin is the foundation of a great looking tan!

Our products are specifically designed to provide critical re-moisturization to the skin before and

after tanning. The healthier your skin, the less it sheds and the longer you will maintain that same

tanned skin. These premium products provide your skin with deep and constant moisturization

that lasts for hours following your tanning session.

Skin Conditioning:

Our Bantry Bay product line is formulated to provide your skin with key tanning ingredients that

assist in increasing your natural tanning ability. These key ingredients also carry valuable skin

conditioning properties that will help prepare your skin for additional tanning sessions and repair

damaged skin cells, restoring a youthful glow with high levels of skin conditioning minerals and

vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C and L-Tyrosine.

Using After Tan Products to Get Better Tanning Results:

Experts widely believe that your melanocytes are

actively tanning up to 48 hours after your last tanning

session. After Tan Products are designed to be used as often

as desired but especially after tanning, after showering,

and before bed to help your skin receive the maximum

Moisturization and Skin Conditioning ingredients

within your 48-hour continuous tanning period.

Why do some products Tingle?

Tingle products are created with high concentrations of natural vitamins and the purest botanical oils.

The 'Tingle' - and subtle redness - is the result of natural vitamins and oils stimulating the skin's

microcirculation which, in turn, increases the skin's ability to tan!

Not Convinced? - Think of the "pressure points" (the white spots you get on your tail bone and shoulder

blades) after tanning in tanning beds. Those points of untanned skin are due to decreased circulation.

Still not convinced?

Think about how you tan faster outdoors when you're moving (exercising, playing sports) than when

you're just relaxing in the sun. Exercise stimulates your skin's microcirculation, which improves your

tanning results. Many Bantry Bay tanning products work the same way! By increasing your skins

microcirculation with one of our vitamin enriched formulas, you are assured of the best tanning results -

not to mention helping skin cells regenerate and oxidize faster for a longer lasting, more youthful-looking

tan. The redness and tingling will fade within a short amount of time, but your skin will radiate a beautiful

tan glow as the day progresses.

Some Tanning Products Bought

Elsewhere will Damage Tanning Beds:

Tanners should understand that often moisturizers or tanning lotions bought from retail stores, grocery

stores and major cosmetic companies contain ingredients that stop you from tanning - They are not

the same as our salon's tanning products. These tan-prohibiting moisturizer's contain ingredients

which most times include:

1) Natural and chemical sun blocks that will block

your body's UV light absorption during your tanning

session.

2) Skin bleachers and skin exfoliates originally designed

to increase skin shedding and lightening to minimize

wrinkles and blemishes.

In addition, most all non-tanning moisturizers do not contain tyrosine and other ingredients designed

to help your body tan faster.

If you choose to tan on our equipment with a product not purchased from our stores, please have it

approved by our staff. Products designed for outdoor tanning are not allowed in tanning beds as they

can permanently damage our acrylics with mineral oils, products dyes and other damaging elements.

Its a very common misconception that the same lotions that work well outside, can also be used

inside. They cannot, and will only hinder the tanning process by making it extremely difficult for

UV light to effectively pass through the acrylic sheets used on our tanning beds.

So please, let us approve your lotions before using them in our facilities.
